David is Professor of Leadership and Organizational Behavior – and Chair of Leading a Scale-up – at ESSEC Business School, Paris. His research and teaching focuses on helping high-potential professionals in hyper-growth organisations to become agile, adaptive and analytical leaders.

He has published research in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior and Organization Science. He serves on multiple editorial boards.

He works with organisations throughout the USA, Latin America and Europe on role transitions and leadership development.
